This is the head, painted and sealed!
I finally got the courage to use
the new suri alpaca hair
from Bravo the alpaca.
This is Bravo. |
You can buy his fibre
It went on
much more easily
than I expected,
and it hangs beautifully.
I'm a suri convert!
Photos tomorrow!
I'm quite excited to see tomorrow's photographs.
ReplyDeleteShe's looking lovely, you're a truly talented lady :)
Thank you so much! The hair went on like a dream, photos are up now.
DeleteLovely lady! She progresses very nicely!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Luba. I've had real fun making this young lady and she's going to be hard to part with!
DeleteBeautiful facial features, love those eyes! I've never tried alpaca hair. I can't wait to see!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was really worried about the fibre, but it went on easily. A little time-consuming, but less fiddly and messy than I expected.

Thank you, Penny! She's been a real sweetheart to make (you know how some dolls come easy and some are a tussle from start to finish?) and I'm enjoying watching her come together.
