You've made great progress already.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of American McGees Alice and can't wait to see your dark haired beauty :)
Thank you! McGee's Alice is on the list somewhere, complete with vorpal blade and sigils on her white apron.
DeleteLove the hands.....can't wait to see the finish.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm a bit bothered by the surface texture, but I'm happy with the shape. And I don't like the dead smooth surface on a doll anyway. It doesn't look hand made if you can't see flaws and texture.
DeleteYou are just moving right along :D She is looking great!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Summer! Like you, I'm doing hair today.
DeleteShe's is going to be beautiful, can't wait to see her when she's done.
ReplyDeleteThank you! At this stage, I just want to see her done, too!
DeleteGreat progress. I like your development of her features!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I've got the eyes painted, so now she looks a little more alive!
DeleteYou know how much I admire your dolls, at least I hope you do.. She is really coming along beautifully Rhissanna... I always enjoy viewing your WIP photos... I am excited to see her completion.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your most welcome visit and very encouraging comment.. I am so happy you enjoyed Oliver.

Penny
I'm glad you enjoy my WIP. When I first started blogging and doll making, I was always thrilled by any WIP I found, as it gave me insight into what other people were doing an d it made me feel less isolated in my craft. So I'm happy to share, and hope it encourages others.
DeleteWhat a beautiful start! I thought she was a larger size doll until you held her in your hand. I enjoyed your progress photos. Looking forward to seeing her finished. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Isn't scale an odd thing? It's almost impossible to guess how big a doll is, unless we see it with something to give it scale. I love photos of dolls in the artist's hand for that very reason.
DeleteShe is looking so special! All your creations are amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou say the sweetest things, Oh, Magic Love Crow!
