I'm a convert!

This is my commissioned
with suri alpaca hair
from Katherine (and Bravo) at

I told Katharine the fibre was for a doll
and she sorted out some nice long locks for me.

See how it hangs,
like real hair?

This is the back.
Bed hair, maybe?

I straightened it,
with my hair straightener!

And it all went on nicely
with PVA(white) glue.
I have to try this fibre again.
I'm thrilled!

This is Bravo!

  1. Wow and I say bravo to Bravo. Indeed, bravo you, Rhissanna. You have a talent. I used to be a model, now I'm life-sized.

Thank you for your very thoughtful comments on my site, my friend. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

    1. Aww! Thank you, Gary! And it must be nice to be life-sized. I'm only 5 ' 2".

Isn't Bravo cute? I thought it was really nice to see the alpaca the fibre comes from, on her website. Hugs to Penny from me!

    1. Thank you! It was one of those things I expected to be a disaster,(glue, hair, sweat and tears) and was actually ok.

  3. Lovely doll and hair. Looks longer than I would have expected.

    1. Thank you! I was worried about the length too, when I started, but once it was all glued down, the locks at the nape of her neck reach nicely down her back. I was delighted with how it turned out, especially as I really didn't know what I was doing. :)

    1. Thank you! I did wonder if the glue would melt, but it worked out fine. Much better than I'd hoped!
