More Teasing.


This sleeping Alice
has been a real sweetheart to make.


She needs clothes,
and I can't decide on
an original Tenniel Alice
or a Dark Alice
in black velvet.


Help, anyone?

I'm already making 
a companion Alice
(who is awake)
 in the traditional Tenniel 
blue dress and white apron,
for a commission.

      Aww, thank you, WIllow. I think, as I have the velvet, I'm going to go that route, with maybe some antique lace.

      Thank you, Penny! Yes, the Daydreaming Alice will be in the traditional blue dress and I was quite looking forward to making tteo the same, but now... I really rather fancy something in warm black velvet!

      Oh, thank you Carol! Yes, I have an awake Alice in blue that's been commissioned and I need to get her finished. I was going to make the pair both in blue, but this piece of soft vintage velvet is so pretty and I have just the lace to trim it. Decisions, decisions!

      You should see this little scrap of blackv velvet! Dark and soft and a little time-worn. It really is beautiful and it really needs to be on a doll!
