A doll for a doll.

The problem with making
 a doll
for a doll
is that the doll
needs to look like a doll
when it's held by the doll.

Follow me?

Good.

Here is the doll
for a doll.
She still needs her apron
but she's nearly done.

Does she look like a doll?

All right, then.

Here is the doll
(very unfinished)
holding her doll.

Excuse horrible flash photography.

Does she look happy
with her doll?

If she looks happy
with her doll
then
I'm happy
with her doll.

  1. Yes they look very happy together...she has her a tight hug so you might have trouble getting Alice back again:)

    1. I know! I was just trying the little Alice for scale and thought that looks really cute! The light was pretty crummy for taking photos, but I thought, what the hey! That's what photoshop is for!

    1. Thank you! I'm still hoping it looks like a little girl bunny with her doll, not a creepy giant rabbit grabbing a kid!

  11. I love your tiny dolls just as much as I love your larger dolls...they are always so exquisite and charming. Can't help but love them all!!! That is why I adore Miss Rabbit and Alice which I have! They 'complete' each other~ Can't have one without the other!

    1. Oh, Teresa, thank you for saying this! The 'Rabbit with her Alice doll' is an important theme for me, and I hope to make it in all kinds of variations. I'm so happy you have the first one, as I know you love Alice dolls.

  12. These dolls are wonderful. You do the most fabulous Rabbits and I thought Alice was a sweet little doll and I think the Rabbit agrees with me. Looks like she is really enjoying her sweet Alice.

    1. Thank you. It honestly wasn't a picture I posed. I was just checking the scale of the two dolls together and thought, 'Wow, she really likes that doll!'. I was worried Alice was too large at first, but they do seem (literally) made for each other.
