Firstly!
I have Miss R White back,
nice and safe and she wasn't broken
and she didn't lose her shoes or her Alice!
She and Sookie and Bad fairy
all won a Blue Ribbon each.
( I feel like such a show pony!)
and I was given a check
for the princely amount of
Nine Dollars!
(that's about five quid, give or take)
.
and, as soon as I get a chance,
I'm going to sit down and try it.
Thirdly,
For those of you following

ReplyDeleteDon't they? I always think they look like ivory, or old carving. Very lovely
DeleteAs soon as I get something made, I'll post it up here.
DeleteCongratulations on your blue ribbons. I am sure Miss R White is very proud of herself. Don't go spending your winnings all in one place :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I'll try, Amy. I think I'm spending it all on ribbons and doll size buttons!
DeleteSo happy Miss R White come back whole after all the fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you! She'll have a story to tell, I think.
DeleteI love Miss R!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. She was a sweetheart to make.
DeleteYeah! I'm glad they are back safe and sound:)
ReplyDeleteI have a Knook now. I borrowed one. Sheesh...it is very difficult. I don't know if it's because I was taught to crochet left handed even though I'm right handed but the book confused me...left...right...eeek! I found lots of videos on YouTube though:)
Thank you. You and me both!
DeleteI'm hoping it's going to be ok because I can't crochet, either. I hope that means I don't have to 'unlearn' anything. Thank you for the YouTube hint.
Happy to hear Miss R White returned safely from the fair, not even losing her shoes.
ReplyDeleteI am still trying to find time to master crochet. Not ready to take up something new. Best wishes to you with that.
Oh yes, I was thrilled to get her home.
DeleteAs for the Knook, I'm hoping that NOT knowing how to crochet will help me. I don't have to unlearn something.
Congrats on your blue ribbon! I for one, know you deserve it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sherry. That's very sweet of you!
DeleteGood evening Rhissanna,
ReplyDeleteI am so proud and very happy for you! Congratulations on your blue ribbons... Well deserved indeed! I am sure Miss R White is happy to be home.
Blessings,
Penny
Hi there, Penny. Thank you very much. I'm going to have to find a place to hang up these ribbons. As for Miss R White, yes, she looked like she'd had quite an adventure!
