Update. Claudia WIP

Claudia, which I started for
Holly's Horrorlands
is just waiting for her dress.
(And, possibly, her coffin.)

She has pale, ivory skin,
to contrast with the peachy hair,
and grey shadows.

I wanted her to have bendable legs,
so that she could be posed
in a coffin or on a shelf.

Her drawers are just lightly stuffed,
with no leg inside.

Little red leather shoes!
I'm still considering adding rosettes.

She may have a skull companion.
A cheater skull, as I'm going to use a dollar store
plastic Halloween skull as an armature.

 Claudia in her underwear,
with her beloved doll.

Claudia's doll is dressed Marie Antoinette style
as a nod to Kirsten Dunst,
who played both characters.

Next week, the dress!

    1. Thank you! Yes, I think there might well be rosettes. I love the red leather, but those shoes are crying out for adornment.

This is the most fun thing I've read today! Such a perfect combination of the darkly delightful with the matter-of-fact! Love it! :D

    1. Heh! Thank you! A vampire needs to look comfortable in their casket, don't you think?

    1. Aww! Thank you! To confess, the peach hair was a dying accident. I guess those accidents are for a reason, right?

  4. I might not want a doll who didn't look perfectly beautiful while posing in her coffin. Okay, that's a lie. I just agree with Little Gothic Horrors. Your reasons for bendable legs is perfect!

    1. Thank you, Magaly! I'm hoping whoever gets her, wants to pose her in attractive undead surroundings. Coffin, mausoleum, byre, something funereal. Like a stack of Edgar Allan Poe books?

    1. Aww thank you, Penny! The rosettes go on today and she's finished. Mostly. I'm glad you like her hair! It's always nice when a mistake turns out to have been for a particular purpose.
