    1. Thank you! I'm a bit bothered by the surface texture, but I'm happy with the shape. And I don't like the dead smooth surface on a doll anyway. It doesn't look hand made if you can't see flaws and texture.

    1. I'm glad you enjoy my WIP. When I first started blogging and doll making, I was always thrilled by any WIP I found, as it gave me insight into what other people were doing an d it made me feel less isolated in my craft. So I'm happy to share, and hope it encourages others.

  7. What a beautiful start! I thought she was a larger size doll until you held her in your hand. I enjoyed your progress photos. Looking forward to seeing her finished. Lovely.

    1. Thank you! Isn't scale an odd thing? It's almost impossible to guess how big a doll is, unless we see it with something to give it scale. I love photos of dolls in the artist's hand for that very reason.
