Celebrating My Way: 4th Sunday of Advent

Well, I know you're all frantically busy
and I've just taken a second from
an orgy of biscuit and sweetie making

where we've shared how we celebrate
the Winter Festivals,
is coming to an end
on the 4th Sunday of Advent

 Today, I'm baking.

And what do dollmakers bake?

Gingerbread men,of course!

A cookie and a doll, all in one!

I'm making these,
and peanut butter cookies
and chocolate chip,
 as well as tiger butter,

and white chocolate popcorn
which is a first this year for me.

Merry Jingle to you all
and if you don't put on a few pounds
you're not doing it right.

Thank you to Ms Misantropia,
for helping us all share how we celebrate.

Have a wonderful time
and I'll see you in the
New Year.

Blimey, 2014!

    1. Thank you! Living in Arkansas, I had to make White Trash, but I couldn't find a suitable label; the pin-up girl came to the rescue. Tiger Butter is Hubby's fav and embarrassingly easy to make.

  3. Hah, 'White Trash' candies! Like me, you sound like you're up to your eyeballs in goodies - and I agree: One needs to put on some weight during the holidays, or else one is doing it wrong :)

    1. Exactly. Then in the New Year we can eat salad and go walking and feel all virtuous. Part of the Circle of Life!

    1. Sure! That's white chocolate popcorn (horribly addictive), tiger butter, soft batch chocolate chip, soft batch peanut butter cookies and gingerbread people, hearts and rabbits? Let me get a bigger box... You want some homemade doggie biscotti for the pugs, too?
