Black and Pink in Paris

All finished.

The view of Paris
in pink and black?

Total fluke!
I only had red and black
left in the printer.

She poses nicely,
with pins through the sleeves.

The hat, all tulle and roses.

The hat can be removed
and displayed separately,
and  it comes with a hat pin.

The back.
Pink satin bow.

And she's gone!
Sold before I got her
into my Etsy shop.

Now shared with Pink Saturday.

  1. Wow Rhissanna, what a stunning lady!
I'm not surprised she went so quickly.
I love that last photograph too in front of the Eiffel Tower.

    1. Thank you so much, Karin! I'd made the basic sculpt of the doll ages ago, and didn't quite know how to dress her. But once I had the hat, she all came together in a few days.

I got so lucky with that background. It really was serendipity, as it's supposed to be a black & white image printed with the last gasp of black ink. For some reason, it added red and I got a pink Eiffel Tower! Perfect!

  3. Wow! She's beautiful! And what a fun PINK happening with your printer. It looks GREAT!

Your dog is adorable. My granddogs all say, "Woof!" My daughter and I love to write "Comments" for her dog. Let me think...How about, "Excuse me, it's not polite to stare. Unless it's in total admiration, of course. Then it's OK."

    Have a lovely day! :) :) :)

    1. Well, thank you! I made the hat but I have to admit to cheating on the ribbon roses. I bought a huge pack of them ages ago and use them on everything. They're addicting!
