Hoi! Don't eat that!

This is Mr Butterbean
all grown up.
Nearly.
Just in time for
Easter, too.

So I shall expect
brightly coloured eggs
Easter morning.

 I tried to sketch him.
It was remarkably unsuccessful.
Firstly,
 because he won't keep still.
And secondly,
because my sketchbook is tasty.

This bunny will keep still!
This bunny is made by the wonderful
Cynthia Toy,
(yes, that's her real name)
who makes the loveliest
cloth fairy dolls.

I have wanted one of these bunnies
ever since I first saw one.
But there's only a few made
every Spring.

This year, I nabbed one!
Hubby bought it for me.

Here she is on
Steampunk Rabbit's lap.

  1. Mr Butterbean has a perfectly perfect name for a bun.

    1. He does indeed. I wish I could take credit for it! The name came from Hubby's sister-in-law. Stroke of genius, I thought.

  10. Steampunk Bunny looks like she has CT Bunny right where she wants her. Meanwhile, I like what I see of those Mr. Butterbean sketches (Mr. Butterbean is pretty good lookin', too).

    1. I'm glad you noticed Steampunk Rabbit rather looms over little bunny. It looks a little ominous. I'm sure she means well...

Anyway, thank you for the sweet comment about my hasty (nibbled) bunny sketches! I'll have to try again, if I can find a way to bribe him to keep still. His own edible sketch book, maybe?

    1. Isn't she sweet? I think I got the prettiest of the bunch in that violet coloured dress. In fact, Violet Bunny is probably going to be her name.

As for handsome Mr Butterbean, I chose him out of a box of bunnies because he was the friendliest and most curious. All the others ran away into the bunny house, but he came out to sniff around and was happy to be petted. The gorgeous golden fur sealed the deal!

    1. Thank you, Mina! Mr Butterbean is a star, I have to admit. And yes, that's a lightening sketch of him, before he rushed across the room to taste some more sketchbook.

Hubby is a sweetheart, too. Maybe I should do more sketches of him as he's better at keeping still and he doesn't fancy paper as a snack!
