Sneak Peek!

Happy Valentine's Day!
(Which is ending in about 5 minutes.)

Here is a sneak peek of
my first on-line commission.

It's for a
Steampunk Bunny!

I know!

I'm so excited!

The rabbit is based on
Miss R White,

And yes, rabbits look funny
when seen from the front.

Steampunk Bunny
has a body,
but she needs a bigger shoulder plate
and painting and then
the bunny part is done.

I'm waiting for silver gears and some lovely lace
to arrive and then I can start dressing her.

I can hardly wait!

I'm glad you like my bunny. She's going to be a whole doll, paperclay head and shoulders and the rest a cloth doll.

  5. Great start with your bunny. I too can't wait to see the finished bunny. I don't think I've seen a steampunk bunny yet, so this is going to be exciting to watch! Have fun and congrats on your first on-line commission.

    1. Thank you. I hope so. The big challenge is a top hat with ears that come through it. It's an easy thing to draw, but making a 3D one? It's going to be fun!

  8. GOOD MORNING, Rhissanna! I love this idea of a Steampunk Bunny! I love to see your process and how you make these. I find a rabbit's head to be such a beautiful "design" and how you capture it is astonishing. She/he is going to be WONDERFUL!

Thank you precious one, for coming to visit this morning! HUGS and Iam seeing a lot of bunny tracks in my garden in the snow!! Anita

    1. Oooh! Thank you! Yes, rabbits have a wonderful head shape that allows them 360 deg vision, but which still looks wildly funny when seen from the front. That and their perpetual expression of vague disapproval!
