Miniature chair from Champagne Cork

the esteemed Dr Algernon Crupper
tells us how to make a miniature bistro chair
from the wire cage on a champagne bottle.

as well as instructing us how to open a bottle of champagne without bathing our guests in it...

(I'm not much of a cook, but I'm a little vain about my ability to open a bottle of champagne neatly)

    1. They are cute, aren't they? This one was from an anniversary champagne bottle and Hubby keeps it on his computer.

    1. I've been wondering about making a weeny little person to sit on it. Maybe now I have the basics down, I ought to look at making little wire chairs from scratch, for the smaller dolls. More to add to my to do list!

  3. Hi again -yeah I don't like the thicker fabrics for small dolls 'cos the're too bulky but it did'nt work out that well because the image is'nt vibrant enough-of course thats after I went to all the bother of making little flowers for it and then I hate it!!-live and learn !Itried the brushes last night and they're not bad at all -one I love is a tiny ball stylus I don't know what I would use it for but it just looks so cute!!I got them on ebay for approx 3£.The fabric trial is really bugging me as I was out of printer ink and spent 55 euros to try this and it's crap so I'm not a bit pleased with my 2 days work .Talk to you soon all the best Mary

    1. Ooh. Well, thank you for the heads up. The fabric looks ok in the photos, but I understand the disappointment that comes when we work really hard on something and it just doesn't turn out right. I've done that a lot!

As for the brushes, I'm looking on Ebay RIGHT NOW. Thank you so much for telling me about these!
